5G service to be launched in Odisha in first phase: Vaishnaw
Vaishnaw had earlier asked the telecom service providers to be ready with the 5G launch post the allocation of diapason allocation letters.
Dispatches and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that high- speed 5G services will be rolled out in Odisha in the veritably first phase. He added that the department of Telecommunication is working hard to launch the service.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his Independence Day address from the ramparts of the Red Fort, said that the 5G services will be launched in India soon.
It’s noteworthy that earlier, it was said that the 5G service would be launched in 13 metropolises of the country in the first phase and none of the metropolises of Odisha figured in it.
According to experts, formerly launched, 5G will be give service 10 times faster than 4G and 30 times faster than 3G.

Asked about any impact of the 5G radiation on mortal beings, he said “ The quantum of radiation it'll give forth is 10 times lower than the radiation morals set by the World Health Organization( WHO). So, no bone should worry about it. ”
