SlideShare is an American hosting company accommodation, now bought by Scribd, for professional content including presentations, information, documents, and videos. Users can upload files personally or publicly in PPT, XML, PDF, or OpenDocument format. Content can then be viewed on the site itself, on mobile contrivances or embedded on other sites. SlideShare withal provides users the competency to rate, comment on, and apportion the uploaded content. Released on October 4, 2006, the accommodation situated itself to be kindred to YouTube, but for presentations.[1] The company was acquired by LinkedIn in 2012,[2] and then by Scribd in 2020.[3]
In 2018,slideshare 80 million unique visitors a month.[4] SlideShare most favourite app.
